Pardon! Specialty coffee & artisanal waffles

Hello, rainy Saturday! There is a smart saying, that when one door closes, another window opens…It fits perfectly for today, since dreams for a walk by the sea were shut down and I ended up grocery shoping in St Gilles – my dear neigbourhood in Brussels. With zero expectations at all.

And just by taking a street I’ve never taken, I accidentally bumped in a inviting undiscovered specialty coffee place! Pardon Brussels! (https://www.pardonbrussels.com/ )

I ofcourse dropped in and the first immediate surprise I saw was – Lithuanian Naive chocholate!!! (https://chocolatenaive.com/about/ ). Second – the ambiance got me immediately – modern & cozy art deco style place, with very good sountrack & smiling baristas! I was welcomed by the owner Marla & had a friendly chat about coffee & chocholate 🙂

Place has all that a coffee person & foodie needs – interesting blends roasted in Belgium prepared in different ways (incl. variety of filtered), good quality chocholate, interesting foodie menu with wide options for brunch (sweet or salty) (incl. plant-based options!), very special artisanal Belgian style waffles & other cute desserts, healthy smoothies and much more!!
