There is definately nothing more comforting to survive the pre-spring winds & rain in Brussels than a cup of hot freshly brewed & aromatic coffee served in a super cozy Belgian district of St. Gilles by super friendly baristas at Kami coffee shop.
They have a very nice concept of constantly of bringing coffee beans from different coffeeroasters in Europe, so it’s never a boring selection. Nice selection of all classical filtered coffees (home batch brew, aeropress, french press, chemex & others) combined with a tiny but trendy & well organised food menu – super nice fresh-bread sandwiches, granolas, and surely mouthwatering sweets).
You can also order bring some beans & filteted coffee machines home 🙂
I’ve tasted some very soft & pleasant coffee from Burundi today, roasted by the famous Berlin coffee roasters The Barn. Was relaxing & warming!
Finally, as soon as you enter, home feeling strikes you & you immediately get slower, want to fall in the corner table & and turn the clock off 🙂 Planning to come back here for a cold brew in their cozy terrace outside!
So, when in Brussels, look before you judge the Belgian coffee! You can find excitment in exploring growing Belgian specialty coffee scene!
