to Sugar or not to sugar?

The older I get, the less I challenge myself with quantitative new year goals. More & more I think about qualitative & emotional ones and how I would like to feel every now and then.

One of important things for me is how I feel in my body. So this year I start with no added sugar and some sugar detox 🙂 Why? First, because I want to rest my body & mind from this adiction. Second, because I truly want to bring back the feeling of great variety of natural tastes this world has to offer! I experienced that added sugar kills the sensitivity of my mouth and actually eating a dessert a day is not something that our ancestors used to do! So I am getting back to the roots!

I already can hear “can’ts” & “will never happen”, but I hope I could atract you to at least 1 day or suprising yourself with natural tastes that could bring so much joy!

I would like to share my recipe of a sugar-free, super energising and aromatic home-made eco cacao! Just heat a glass of oat milk with 1 tbs of ecologic cacao (22 % fat), 1/3 of bourbon vanilla bean, pinch of ceylon cinnamon & green cardamon. Bring it almost to boil & in the end, add half spoon of coconut butter!

Sip it slowly, screen free, enjoying this elegant snowfall outside! Cozy & warm emotion guaranteed!
