Modern Vietnamese in Brussels!

The more this life continues, the more globalization goes wild and our varieties widen up. Which is not a bad thing either, since you don’t need to fly miles away for a tasty asian dish.

However, “asian” is not the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of European capital Brussels, firstly – capital of fries with gourmet sauces, chocholate and beer 🙂

Moreover, I expect a nice asian restaurant near the European quartier (close to Place Lux!) even less, since it is usually packed with expat-friendly bars and fast-grab food places.

To my nice surprise and thanks to my good friend Desi, I discover new vietnamese restaurant with a fancy name Can Tho. It has super nice, open and friendly ambience, welcoming and smiling staff and even more modern ordering system.

You have an electronic interactive menu, where you immidiately can customize your selections, design your Budha bowl with as much ingredients as you want imcluding seafood, meet or vegan opions (extra protein if you want!). You can also find those nice healthy wellness waters enriched with minerals and vitamins. You order, check-out and than get your meal&drinks delivered to the table by fast running waiters carrying multiple trays with bowls.

And the food is so delicious, fresh, smells great and is so nutritious! This is an inspiration from the classical asian street food brought under roof, combined with some modern tech and friendly Belgian staff.

Definately relatively new hot lunch spot in Brussels European quartier!

Bon Apetit!
